ARAI launches its new Quantum helmet, entering the market just below the top of the range RX-7 GP. The new Quantum shares it's shell construction and mechanics with it's sporty brother the GP, The Quantum is to be aimed at a larger market and is the ideal helmet for those riding a sports, sports tourer, tourer, retro or streetfighter.

The Quantum is a re-invention of the best selling helmet that was produced from 1992 to 2001, a lid that many reckoned was the best fitting Arai in the range. Many will remember those famous replica's such as the Doohan and Walker.

The new Quantum shares safety technology with the GP and uses the same triple layer shell construction with a ‘Hyper Ridge’. The vents have been updated and improved and the visor is 5mm wider on each side for better peripheral vision.

The lining is fully removable and made of a Dry-Cool material for improved wicking. It also comes in a variety of sizes and foam densities for a tailored fit. Like the GP the Quantum also features Arai’s emergency release cheek pads.

Selected Quantum's will be avaliable from Mid December with a complete range in the UK by Febuary 2010.
